Nasal Passage
The nasal passage is one of the ways that air can be brought into your lungs. Cilia hair and mucus filters the air that passes through your nose. Dust and other bacteria get trapped when flowing through the nasal passage. The nasal passage also warms the air that goes through. The nasal passage can become swollen or stuffed with mucus which can make it harder to breathe. The floor of the nasal cavity is the soft palate, which is located at the top of your mouth.
