Lungs
The lungs are a pair of spongy organs that take in oxygen and put out carbon dioxide. The left lung is slightly smaller than the right. This extra space is where the heart is located. The lungs take in oxygen to transfer into the bloodstream and puts out waste gases, such as carbon dioxide, from the bloodstream. Your lungs are covered by a slick material that allows them to move easily when you inhale and exhale.
